Family Registration
7800 Rivers Ave. Suite 1610, North Charleston, SC 29406. You will need a valid form of identification upon registration, such as a government ID and/or proof of residency. That government ID will be used to pick up the toys- NO exceptions. Toys are donated on a first come-first served basis. The cut-off for registration will be on December 5, 2015.

Organizational Registration
Non-Profit Organizations may request toys for their organization’s children. Non-Profit Organizations must have their 501(c)3 and be based in South Carolina. These organizations must submit their list of children with their last 6 of their SSN to the Charleston Toys for Tots program in order to qualify. Children who register via Organization will not be eligible to receive toys through Family Registration. The Cut-Off for Organization Registration is December 5th.

Toy Collection Boxes
The Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program collects new, and unwrapped, toys from the local community through events and toy box donations. We do have a relatively limited number of boxes at our disposal and careful consideration will be given to the selection of those businesses/organizations who will receive said boxes. We do encourage businesses/organizations to create their own festive box for collections but do ask that they register with us before collecting. This will prevent any confusion about the intent of the collection box. Collecting toys under the Toys for Tots logo without turning the toys over to the Charleston Toys for Tots program is fraud. Box Distribution will begin in Mid- to Late- October. We intend to begin the collection process (in Dress Blues) starting on December 9th until completion. This will allow us to collect and sort the toys in time for distribution.

Event Support
Toys for Tots Events are some of the best events of the Christmas season. We love them and Charleston loves them. Businesses and Organizations may put together a Toys for Tots collection event and the Marines can come out to support them. The event is really only limited by your imagination. However, Marines may not endorse a product or service during their support of the Toys for Tots program. We have many wonderful event requests each year and are not always able to support all of them. Please note that there will be a limit on the number of events we can perform due to limited personnel and vehicle support. The last day that we will be able to come out will be December 15th. After that we will be busy getting ready to distribute all of the toys collected. Please submit your requests by clicking the “Tell Us About Your Event” at the top of this page.

Volunteering
We welcome those members of the community who wish to volunteer their time in support of our program. We will be accepting a limited number of volunteers this year to assist with the distribution portion of the Toys for Tots program. Those who volunteer will be unable to receive toys for themselves or their organization to prevent abuse of the program. Preference will be given to current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
