Erykah Badu will be donating some of the proceeds from her Detroit concert coming up in August to the African American 490 Challenge. The name of the organization comes from the cost of completing a single rape kit test $490. The organization aims to test more than 11,000 abandoned rape kits found in the Detroit Police Department’s storage. Click here for the full story.
